I've managed to get the cute little Charm Square quilt I was working on finished and ready to pop in the post...... I hope the recipients love it as much as I do! I really do have a thing for the Verna fabric range....so fresh and pretty!
Complete with yellow polka dot backing, a striped bind and my own little label
designed by my very clever sister....shame I often forget to use them!
When I first made one of these I used the Charm square baby quilt tutorial from Moda Bake Shop Sew Mama Sew but enlarged it so that it was a better sized quilt. If you would like the measurements etc, please let me know!
Amended 05/08/12 - my apologies for the incorrect tutorial information
You can find instructions for the changes I made and the correct links here.
Until next time....
Just gorgeous Tracy... I'm sure she will LOVE it. I can't see it being "Returned To Sender" LOL!
ReplyDeleteA beautiful quilt and I am sure it will be must loved.
ReplyDeleteA beautiful quilt. I would really like to get the measurement. I'm going to be a grandmother i april, and maybe I can sew this one. It was just georgeous.
ReplyDeleteLovely quilt! How many charm squares did you use?
ReplyDeleteI love the fabrics. I can never seem to find nice charm packs.
ReplyDeleteI couldn't find the tutorial on Moda Bake Shop, so I sort of eyed yours and made my own version... I didn't use precuts. Thanks for showing me the pictures! You're awesome!
ReplyDeleteI would LOVE to know the adjustments you made to the bake shop pattern! I have used the pattern twice and both times wished it was a little bigger.
ReplyDeleteThanks
Ruby
I would also love the measurements and looked at the Moda website -- but which pattern is it? Thank you, !)
ReplyDeleteI am in the process of making this same quilt pattern, but with different charm squares of course. I am making it for a baby. I love your applique letters for the name and the little hearts at the top. I may steal the idea. It is precious. I also love how you quilted it. It is perfect.
